Panasonic Waterproof Lumix Review
Panasonic Waterproof Lumix is Rugged and Easy to Use
The Panasonic Waterproof Lumix camera is waterproof up to a depth of 10 feet, shockproof from falls up to 5 feet and is even dust proof. There are some great features such as HD movie capture, a 28mm wide-angle lens and a long battery life. The Panasonic Waterproof Lumix is intuitive and easy to use; the controls are relatively large and logically arranged. Photos taken were very good for its class. Its main competitors include the waterproof Pentax digital camera Optio W80, the Canon Waterproof D10 and the Olympus Tough Stylus models 8000, 6000 and 6010. |

Why buy a separate waterproof kids camera when you can use the same one? The Panasonic Waterproof Lumix camera is well suited for double duty as a rugged and everyday pocket camera. Its ability to withstand being dropped adn sub-merged make this camera a good family camera - even a tough kids waterproof camera. Parents don't have to worry about knocks or the camera getting wet. This camera is great as a "real" waterproof kids camera: it is a proper digital waterproof shockproof camera designed really for adults but children can use it too. Why carry two when one will do?

Pros, Cons and "In a Nutshell"
Pros: Well designed; very good performance, photo, and video quality. A digital waterproof shockproof camera makes it versatile and suitable for general fun and every day photography. Cons: Soft photos and relatively expensive; not freeze proof; not suitable for serious underwater photography. In a Nutshell: The Panasonic Waterproof Lumix model is full of great features and is a great point-and-shoot camera. Its tough design makes this a good family and tough waterproof kids camera, suitable for everyday use. |
